A traffic stop by Grant Parish Sheriff’s Corporal Zac Daenen and Deputy Robert Jordan led to the arrest of a Pineville man for drugs. As the deputies were speaking to the driver, Stephen Collins, they noticed a set of digital scales in his back pants pocket, they also noticed that he would not move his right foot. The deputies discovered that Collins had his foot on top of a metal container, inside of the container was approximately $1,500 worth of methamphetamine.
Stephen Collins, 56 years old, of 124 Hollowdale Drive, Pineville, was arrested for Possession of C.D.S. II with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Obstruction of Justice.
